'Be Prepared - Homecooked Meat!'

You are guaranteed to be able to feed your family homecooked Meat in a power cut if you do this.

Cooked meat stores well in the freezer so long as you protect it from air that causes freezer burn.

You can then simply defrost and eat cold.

I use this for packed lunches but it would work brilliantly in a power cut as well.

Don't forget to follow for more money and food saving tips.

When things got rough and I started sharing our fertility struggles in real time, I never expected it to build a community like this. I never expected to reach so many of you or to feel so supported. Somewhere along the way it gave me a sense of purpose and I promised I’d keep going. If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I always keep my word.

I recently saw a video of the philosopher Alain de Botton describing how friendships form: you share your suffering and hold hands through the valley of darkness. One of you says “it’s sht, isn’t it?” and the other says “yeah, it’s really sht - but we like each other and we’re going to support each other.” That’s exactly what this has been.

By sharing my suffering, I’ve connected with so many women who, like me, never saw IVF on their timeline. And oh my goodness, I have never been so grateful for science - because on Tuesday 28th, seven days after our embryo transfer, we got the positive test we never thought we’d see 🥹

There are no words for how happy we are and we’re still in a bit of disbelief. Some will disagree with sharing this so early, but for us it’s made it feel real - and how lucky are we to get to celebrate with all of you?

This process has completely shifted my perspective. IVF is a privilege and I wish it were available to so many more people. Scientists, doctors, nurses, embryologists - they dedicate their lives to helping people build families. HOW COOL ARE THEY.

Thank you for every prayer and manifestation (they worked). And to anyone in the thick of it right now, I hope this brings you a whole lot of hope 🤍

Amidst the release of election results, where Democrats have so far swept in key races, @KellieMeyerNews
has said that a White House official has told her that the mood in the building remains “defiant,” with the official further saying that those who voted for Democrats will grow to resent their decision in a post-Iran War dynamic.
