On a Friday afternoon in May, three… nope… FOUR little stowaways were discovered in the tiniest compartment of a boat (jokingly calling it the “Hatch” 🥲) that had just been transported from Marmora to Bud’s Evenride Marine in OC. The boat had been shrink-wrapped for over 24 hours, so the fact that they were found - and survived!!! - is still nothing short of extraordinary to me.

Needless to say, these four are extraordinary indeed! Glenn, Bud, Jay, and Hatch have been on quite the adventure since that afternoon. 🏄‍♀️😅 Thanks to their namesakes, the REAL Glenn, Bud, and Jason from the marina, our human Marina @reefritz__ as always, the incredible Austin family, who fostered all four of these lovebugs for months and gave them the very best start to life. Jane and the volunteers with her rescue, who helped coordinate their vet appointments and cared for them along the way!! With the help of each of these people, these little ones are now healthy, adoption-ready, cuddly velcro kitties waiting for their furever families. My hope is that someone seeing this IS ready to bring them home and give them exactly that!!!
