2 months agoAlso good to note that if you forget or run out of a prescription medication as long as you have that prescription on your phone a pharmacist will fill that for you and it’s such a reasonable price usually. I got a months supply of my blood pressure medication for just over €6 and I’ve had antibiotics in the past for chest infections again at a very low cost.
3 months agoWe do have it in the US Sesame , doctor on demand to name a few. There are soooo many in the US. Or telyrx you don't even talk to a doctor.
3 months agoWe don’t have it in the US because it doesn’t benefit the Insurance companies.
3 months agoFarmacia’s are much more educated than the drs. (Just my personal opinion) 25 years of living here. We Always trust the farmacia as they even if you have a prescription they will double check, why & whats best for you in your situation.
3 months agoTry being in the uk I’ve had an infected toe nail for 6 weeks got told they wouldn’t treat it due to budget and to come back when it gets worse and I get a fever AKA SEPSIS at which point it would have been amputation of either my toe or my foot…ended up paying £60 for a podiatrist for 10mins to fix it(without pain meds or anaesthetic) ahahahah I wish we had this system
3 months agoYou can just walk into any pharmacy, which practically are in every corner, and the Pharmacist is also like a doctor, they will assess you and prescribe you the antibiotics. No need to give your info away to yet another website
3 months agoI was there this summer and got sick. Instead of going to an urgent care I paid €140 for a doctor visit in my hotel room. A Sunday night, called at 11 pm she was there before midnight. Then we filled my prescriptions at one of the multiple 24/7 pharmacies. Can you imagine a house call in the late evening on a weekend in the US?? We would have to go to ER, wait hours and then get a bill for 2 k.
