SpongeBob SquarePants is officially being accused of destroying the Tulsa music scene after selfishly scheduling his concert on the same night as some of Tulsa's best local bands, including Instant Death Spike, Pearly Red, Garden Ants, and In My Defense. Instead of supporting live music in Tulsa, fans are allegedly abandoning live shows, concerts, and the city's thriving DIY music community for a giant yellow sponge. Music experts (that definitely exist) are calling it one of the biggest threats to Tulsa concerts, Oklahoma music, and local artists, proving once again that even a fry cook from Bikini Bottom can accidentally start a rivalry with the Tulsa music scene.
