He might not be entirely to blame, but he CLEARLY BEARS RESPONSIBILITY. Coming out and saying it was a shame someone wanted to show off or get attention—right after the video of the flowers went viral and Mina was facing a massive wave of hate—only served to VALIDATE and EXPAND that hate. Even though he didn't mention her by name, it was obvious he was referring to her. As a public figure—and one with such a radical fandom—he should have known the consequences of posting something like that: essentially making young women (or whoever the hell follows these guys) believe their idol had been attacked or made uncomfortable, giving them even more reason to harass her. It almost turned into a "mission." CLEARLY, THE GUY BEARS A HUGE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT HAPPENED; his negligence on social media, combined with his knowledge of his toxic, extremist fandom, leads to only one result—and you already know what that is. A girl took her own life, and the guy didn't even have the decency to say a word. Does this fandom really value their idols above other people's lives? It’s not just a toxic fandom; it’s among the absolute worst...
