2026 Players to Watch: Omari Rowell | No.027
When it comes to physical runners, Omari Rowell is one of the toughest backs to bring down.
The Towson rising senior running back thrives with a downhill running style, squaring his shoulders and attacking defenders with power. His combination of size, speed, and balance allows him to run through contact, break tackles, and consistently pick up tough yards. Used primarily in Towson’s Wildcat/Single Wing offense, Rowell has proven he can be the centerpiece of an offense and wear down opposing defenses.
His impact doesn’t end there. Defensively, Rowell brings that same relentless mentality as an outside linebacker, showing the range to make open-field tackles and the physicality to be a difference-maker on both sides of the ball.
