To find a sense of home in the first few weeks of living here is more than I could’ve ever hoped for. To feel cared for, trusted, held, pushed; to learn some of this city while learning each other; to laugh and cry together.
It’s like I’ve been crawling forward, head down, knees aching and eyes shut. It took the gentle pressure of someone’s head on my shoulder to realize that I’m right where I need to be.
Feeling eternally grateful for everyone I got to dance with, laugh with, mess up with, and simply be with.
Holding you all forever in my heart.
