Come on baby make it harm reduction so good. Yes that is Carrie Fisher wearing an Israeli tee for Paul Simonโ€™s tour. Itโ€™s like Princess Leia shopping at the Death Star gift shop. Iโ€™m sorry I shouldโ€™ve put a warning on it before showing this upsetting image. If you are waking up to Empire and your main culture is pop culture then there will be much pain and disappointment when you realize celebrities arenโ€™t the best amongst us. I couldn't find any evidence of Carrie speaking out against Israel later in her life. But we do contain multitudes and are largely operating unconsciously (at least under these patriarchal colonial systems) so just the fact that she helped create a story about rebels fighting an evil Empire and put it out there into the collective consciousness means some part of her knew what was right. But we are all terribly misaligned to some degree.......she types on an iPhone on a platform owned by a billionaire. I still am going to use her likeness to spread the message of resistance and Matriarchy. Slide 6 painting by Timara Lotah Link (Shmuwich Chumash) Slide 20 painting by Henri Lehmann, 1848.
