a month agoI lived 65 years in Switzerland. Now for 12 years in Bulgaria. There are differences, but look for the good things and you can live in both systems. No regrets at all. I love BG.🥰
2 months agoWell - yeas absolutely I love Switzerland! But don’t put it on a pedestal! After moving to DK I have learned that Switzerland is „the Afghanistan of Europe“ when it comes to families and how the society treats children- not like the most important part in the middle of the society, but as something, sometime annoying on the edge of society. And after living for a very long time living in CH I need to say that there is a lag of social intelligence- why else do people call the police or use a lawyer to sue the neighbours when their cat walks trough their garden instead of solving this problem by talking to each other… Sorry to say but: Switzerland is good but not perfect and I am wondering how high the resilience is when big changes appear, when everyone as a collective loses that tiny layer of safety that wealth creates? This words btw comes from a Swiss friend of mine😉 There are countries doing the „social intelligence“ thing better - that what I have learned after moving to DK. After 5 years you are still in the honeymoon phase- just wait until you create a family 😉

2 months agoI grew up in Basel and I agree. Switzerland Is a difficult country to grow up in as a child, however, the values and character I learned there have not left me some 1994. I miss my home country. Hopp Schwyyyzzzz
2 months agoActually it’s sad how we don’t respect the environment when we live in we create all this mess without thinking that cost money to maintain it and keep it clean, what happened to younger generation, seriously 😮😮
