Love this book! It manages to be a roller coaster ride for feisty Ayla while also providing a growing understanding of who Ayla is and the issues and history of her world. Somehow Ayla has to learn who to trust and who she really is. All this while navigating her growing skills, her temper & the rich tapestry of creatures around her, thieves both dangerous & noble. And are her parents & birth family who she barely remembers still out there. ….. and another revelationary & cliffhanger finish. Gosh, I already need the next one please 🤩
