It’s one thing to grow up inspired by the culture, it’s another to realize you’re actually getting the opportunity to leave your own mark on it.

Still wrapping my head around the fact that I got to creative direct a collab with @shirtkingphade. A true living legend whose art has been woven into hip hop, streetwear and street artistry for decades.

What makes this one even more special is knowing this was the first time you trusted someone else with creative control. For you to trust my eye, my ideas and give me the freedom to bring my vision to life means more than you know OG. 🤞🏾

You’ve created for some of the biggest names in the culture, so knowing my name gets to live somewhere in that archive now is crazy.

@izzy.izzo said it best, you’re still out here giving the YNs buckets with the airbrush like LeBron. Lol

I’ll always be a student of the culture first. Just grateful I’m getting the chance to contribute to the same culture that raised and inspired me.
