Some people you meet at one race end up following you to the next.
@jeremiah.maestre is one of them.
I first met him on the sand of
@mdslegendary. So when he trusted me to shoot his CCC, his first race of UTMB week in Chamonix, I wanted to make that trust count.
Out on the course, I saw two sides of the same guy: quietly tough when things got hard, and never showing off when things went well.
What really got me was his focus, he had a clear goal in mind, but he still rolled with whatever the race threw at him. That fighting spirit doesn’t come from nowhere, years of boxing, and a personal story that taught him how to take a hit long before he ever laced up running shoes.
Around him, a dream team -
@matisleray @jin.luv @chuckyanthony @ultra.coach - who made this race just as intense to watch as it must have been to run.
Thanks, Jeremiah, for the trust, and for letting me be part of something this big.
Can’t wait for what’s next. ✌️
