„Lila, was macht man am besten am Morgen eines wieder sehr heißen Sommertages?“
„Man sucht sich einen kühlen Wald und erkundet schmale Pfade mit knorrigen Wurzeln.“

Rain pouring down.
One final adjustment.
Then a deep breath before moving on.

Some people think race day is only about the start itself.
But most of it is control.

Control the breath.
Control the focus.
Control the moment when the last adjustment is finished,
someone gives you a reassuring pat on the shoulder, and it's time to leave everything else behind.

No PA this time.
Just heavy rain, continuous cheering from the stands, and one quiet breath before walking back toward the track.

That's why I love the routine.
Because routine keeps you steady when the pressure starts to build.
It keeps you honest.
