ONE-DISH CHEESY TOMATO PASTA
8.5/10 – cheesy, saucy, one-dish filth… just like your mum? I don’t even know anymore
This one is stupidly easy.
Chuck everything into one dish, mixy mixy motherf**ker!, whack it in the oven and let it do its thing.
I actually popped mine back in the oven off camera for another 5–10 minutes and the pasta came out perfect! 👌
AND I had some of it cold for lunch the next day and it was absolutely glorious 😂
Meal prep approved! 🤝
What you’ll need:
* 200g dried spaghetti
* 400g tomato pasta sauce
* 300g Low Fat Grated Mozzarella
* 200g Parmesan, grated
* 300g tomatoes, chopped
* 300g mushrooms, sliced
* Small handful fresh basil (around 10g), optional
Cooking Steps
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
2. Add 200g dried spaghetti to a large ovenproof dish.
3. Add 400g tomato pasta sauce, 300g chopped tomatoes, 300g sliced mushrooms, 200g grated Parmesan, and around 10g fresh basil if using.
4. Mixy mixy motherf**ker! making sure the spaghetti is nicely covered in the sauce.
5. Add 300g Low Fat Grated Mozzarella evenly over the top.
6. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes, until the mushrooms are cooked, the cheese has melted, and the spaghetti is cooked. If the spaghetti still needs a little longer, pop it back in for another 5–10 minutes.
7. Carefully remove the dish from the oven and take off the foil.
8. Give everything a good stir until the spaghetti is completely coated in that cheesy tomato sauce.
9. Divide evenly into 5 portions.
10. Serve up and enjoy.
