I Was Not a Great Husband Because I Watched Too Much P%rn — Comedian Chris Rock Opens Up About Past Addiction American comedian and actor Chris Rock has opened up about his past p%rnography addiction, admitting that the habit contributed to his failure as a husband during his 20-year marriage to his ex-wife, Malaak Compton-Rock. Rock made the revelation in a GQ interview published on Tuesday, November 3, where he reflected on his personal struggles, 2016 divorce and the journey towards rebuilding his life. Speaking about the 12-year gap between directing his films Top Five and Misty Green, the comedian explained that his divorce, financial challenges and efforts to get his life back on track contributed to the lengthy break. “I got divorced. Nobody has a successful divorce, so that takes time,” he said, adding that he had to rebuild his finances through stand-up comedy tours. Reflecting on his marriage, Rock admitted, “I was not a great husband,” partly because he “watched a lot of p%rn.” He further disclosed that he stopped watching p%rnography about five or six years ago, saying, “I don’t watch p%rn anymore. I haven’t watched p%rn in five, six years.” The entertainer also acknowledged that he was not proud of his past behaviour but described it as an experience he had to go through. “I tested my powers. I definitely realized I wasn’t God or anywhere near him, and I was severely humbled, as I should have been,” he said. Rock had previously discussed his p%rnography addiction and infidelity in his 2018 Netflix comedy special, Tambourine, where he explained how the habits affected his marriage and left him sexually desensitised. The comedian and Malaak divorced in 2016 after 20 years of marriage. They share two daughters, Lola Simone, 24, and Zahra, 22.
A $2.88 million Dylan Harper grail was pulled from a $25 @PrizePicks pack while on the toilet 🚽🤯 A @PrizePicks user from Texas named Cam just revealed he was sitting on the toilet after lunch when he pulled the ultra rare 1 of 1 Dylan Harper NBA Debut Patch Autograph from a $25 pack, according to PrizePicks. Cam immediately ran upstairs shaking and banged on his son’s door. His son’s jaw dropped, while his wife thought something was seriously wrong because of all the commotion. The card, which sold for $2.88 million at auction in September, was ultimately sold back to PrizePicks at full market value, making it the biggest pull in PrizePicks Packs history. One of the craziest pulls in sports card history, happening just eight days after @PrizePicksPacks launched. And the $8 million Cooper Flagg grail is still out there. 👀🔥 #PrizePicksPartner
Story time. Let me re-introduce myself. 🥹🇧🇷 I moved to the United States 16 years ago, not knowing exactly where life would take me. What started as a little dream eventually became something bigger than I could have ever imagined. And behind every bottle, every milestone, and every little victory, there’s a story that most of you don’t know. So I thought it was time to share it. ❤️ Not just the story of Brazi Bronze, but the story of the woman behind it. **This is my story. This is the Brazi story.** 🇧🇷✨ Come back for part 2 where I really start sharing how this all came to be. Starting by with my life in Brazil. 🫶🏼 #BraziBronze #FounderStory #BrazilianEntrepreneur #FemaleFounder #SmallBusinessJourney
