I also wanted to share this video that was taken a little over 3 years ago, right after my great grandmother passed away, in honor of my Big Papaw turning 100 yesterday. The man has lived for 100 years and seen more than I can imagine. Even after living as much life as he has, he still says, “That’s the best thing you can do in a lifetime is to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.” No matter what your life may look like, Jesus Christ is the answer! ❤️

Democrat Gina Hinojosa secured victory over three-term Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, the Associated Press said, a stunning flip in the country’s most populous red state after more than three decades of Republican leadership.⁠

With 67% of the expected vote counted, Hinojosa had 57% to Abbott’s 42%.⁠

Hinojosa, a 52-year-old lawyer and state representative, began her race as a Democratic longshot against a governor known for his political prowess and formidable campaign war chest. But she gained momentum from voter dissatisfaction with Trump administration policies and the economy under Republican leadership.⁠

Hinojosa surprised many Texas political observers by gaining on Abbott in polls ahead of the election, despite being vastly outspent. Her polling raised Democrats’ excitement in a state where they had not won a statewide seat since 1994.⁠

Už viską, ką teko išgyventi, už pamokas, kurios augino, už akimirkas, kurios šildė širdį, ir už stiprybę, kurią visada atrasdavau savyje.

Labiausiai dėkoju Dievui už gyvenimą, palaimą. Už savo šeimą, artimus žmones, jų meilę ir buvimą šalia. Suprantu, kad būtent tai ir yra didžiausia gyvenimo dovana ❤️.

Su metais vis mažiau norisi kažką įrodinėti, o vis labiau norisi tikrumo, nuoširdžių apkabinimų, ramybės ir žmonių, su kuriais gera būti savimi 🙏.

Esu iš tų, kurios jaučia giliai, myli visa širdimi, o net ir po sunkiausių audrų randa savyje jėgų vėl pražysti. Gal tokia jau mano prigimtis. 🦂

Į naujus metus einu su dėkingumu už tai, ką turiu, su meile tiems, kurie šalia, ir tikėjimu tuo, kas dar laukia. Tegul Dievas saugo mano šeimą ir visus, kuriuos nešioju širdyje. 🙏🏻❤️
