Meet Nicki!! 💛🐾

The rescue world can be a scary and overwhelming place, so when you get the chance to work alongside some truly good humans, it’s such a gift.

Our friend @hardknoxrescue is absolutely overflowing with rescues right now, and then this sweet little kitten wandered into her friend’s life. Of course, we all knew we had to figure out a way to help her.

Together, we’re working to find Nicki a safe place to land. 💛

Since we’re way out in the mountains and pretty far from Long Beach, we reached out to our good friends at @catsofoceanside to see if she could hold Nicki for a day until I can make the drive out.

Without hesitation, she said YES. 🥹

So for now, sweet Nicki is tucked away in her very own posh penthouse—decompressing, luxuriating, and getting spoiled while we figure out what comes next. 👑🐱

We think she’s around 4–5 months old, and as you can see, she is an absolute sweetheart.

Shes been checked for a microchip and @hardknoxrescue posted everywhere she could think of looking for her family, but so far… nothing.

Sadly, there’s a very real possibility that this little girl was dumped. 🥺

But whatever happened before she found her way to us, one thing is certain:

Nicki is safe now. 💛

And thanks to some pretty incredible people in this rescue community, she doesn’t have to figure out what comes next alone.
