This tech was crazy for the era 🤯🔥 The first time Michael Jackson’s “Black or White” video turns a parade of faces into one seamless, shape-shifting flow, it feels like something kids today would assume was made with AI. But back in 1991, that effect was groundbreaking computer animation, carefully crafted frame by frame from filmed faces. The video mixed that technical marvel with a globe-spanning celebration of dance and culture, plus a memorable cameo from Macaulay Culkin. Its premiere was a huge television event, and the morphing finale still has that “how did they do that?” magic—proof that a little ingenuity could make the future feel close.
