Due to recent health, medical, and life circumstances, I have added a very limited amount of deluxe hardcover signing editions to my website!

These are typically only available through the original Kickstarter or at signing events.

Please note: I am currently still in the process of fulfilling kickstarters, which is my first priority. The copies purchased through my website will be shipped only after I have finished Kickstarter fulfillment, which should be around 2-4 weeks!

Thank you for your patience and understanding 💕

Question: Does the Amazon hardback have sprayed edges or just the gorgeous dust jacket? I’d love to one day have a sprayed edge hardback copy! They are stunning!

Texas Democrat James Talarico clinched victory in a key Senate race over Republican state Attorney General Ken Paxton, ending three decades of GOP dominance over statewide elections in the deep-red state. With 66% of the vote reported, Talarico had 59.5% to 39% for Paxton. It marked Democrats’ third flip of the night, and they need to net four pickups to win back the Senate. Voter backlash against Trump administration policies and the political charisma of Talarico, 37, helped Democrats finally secure a hard-fought win after past election cycles of dashed hopes. A Democrat has not won a statewide race in Texas since 1994. Follow live updates at the link in our bio. Photo: Eric Gay/AP

A former Learjet 60 pilot’s account of why he calls it the most dangerous airplane he has flown is spreading after a Learjet 60 crashed in a residential area near Greenacres in Palm Beach County, Florida, on November 1, k*lling all nine people aboard. The jet had left Austin, Texas, for North Eleuthera in the Bahamas. The pilot, who says he flew the type for about 15 years, wrote his thoughts in a message to a friend, who shared it on X. He describes a super critical wing that stalls easily in turbulence, and a “coffin corner” at high altitude where losing about 20 knots can cause a stall while gaining 20 can cause overspeed or a Mach tuck. He says a hard push to recover can send the jet into the other limit, so the fix is tiny fingertip corrections. His advice to pilots he mentored was to never try to top a thunderstorm and to go around it, even if it adds half an hour. He also says ice is unlikely at those extreme cold temperatures, and that the jet has heated wings and tail. The NTSB says the crew reported light, clear ice and moderate turbulence at 35,000 feet around 12:47 p.m. Eastern, followed by a reported mayday for overspeed. The FAA says the jet dropped from about 35,250 feet to 8,750 feet in just over a minute. NTSB member Tom Chapman said investigators have some evidence the aircraft broke up before impact, and dashcam video appears to show the horizontal stabilizer missing, though that is unconfirmed. No cause has been determined, and the pilot’s comments are his own opinion. (Source: Aviation Week, AvBrief, KEYE/CBS Austin, HangryDBowman on X)
