Books for expats in Denmark! Are you living in Denmark and want some genuinely Danish literature, yet are not ready to read it in the native tongue yet? Do you enjoy dark fantasy, semi-lighthearted, semi-morbid humør, the ancient mythologies of the world? Are you religious? Are you atheist? I cannot recommend @kenneth_b_andersen 's "The Great Devil War" series well enough. It can be had at most of Denmark's libraries, and there's three more books besides these!

The Great Devil War is a thought-provoking, humorous, gripping and terrifying journey through the afterlife, a story of good vs evil one started by a simple cosmic error. Lucifer, secretly deathly ill, is in need of a successor and has handpicked the darkest soul on Earth to be his apprentice and eventual heir, but this wretched ne'er do-well inadvertently gets their own bullying victim killed in his place, sending to the Devil the sweetest boyscoyt of a boy, Philip Engel. Lucifer, without a chance for a do-over, is forced to train an angel to be a devil... a task so momentous it is practically eating away at his already clipped lifespan...

The books are also available on Amazon as paperbacks, hardbacks, Kindle ebook and Audible audio books, and on Saxo.com (Danish site) as paperback and hardback. The latter are all personally signed by Andersen. For the Danish editions, search up "Den Store Djævlekrig."
