Six weeks of you, River.

I keep waiting to feel like I’ve caught my breath. And then she does something small a yawn, the way she finds my finger in the dark and I realise I’m not out of breath. I’m just full.

Full of her. Full of Phoenix. Full of every single person who got us here.

It isn’t all soft. It’s loud and I’m tired and I cried over a lost muslin. But I wouldn’t swap a second.

Why does the newborn stage go so quick?

Send this to someone in the fog of newborn days. Or someone who waited a very long time for their person to arrive.

one for the books 📚😊

Tattoo placement matters for the same reason bumper sticker placement matters. Put “Don’t Stop” on the back of a marathon runner’s shirt and you’re encouraging athletic excellence. Put it on a car and you’re asking for a rear-end collision. Put it on someone’s lower back and you’re basically inviting someone to ignore the brake lights 🤣

to being a scorpio in this life and every life after.
a little wiser with every passing year but just as mad as ever..

i also love how my birthdays have evolved over the years.. from wanting big celebrations to finding so much happiness in the simplest things , just being with family.

growing older, growing wiser but never growing out of being me.

and what better way to end the day than with the most amazing thai - italian inspired food at @sweeneybombay 🤍.. absolutely loved the food, the hospitality and the stunning diwali decor.. couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday dinner with my family.
