Please don't take it wrong but shouldn't there be an automated watering system already in place for these trees given that they were planned and planted on purpose? May be parallel pipelines with t-section nozzles which activates only at the evenings or early mornings? May be there is something else that is hindering this option

This is amazing, water pump, an app can count number of trees and it's needs...and most important, people who actually really care!

Oh god, just cut it down. The feeder roots are located near the drip line not by the trunk. Also tree roots need to breathe and they can’t if they are paved over.
