We’re delighted to welcome new committee member Rowan Allen to the QFN team 📽️🎟️
They previously led our short film programming for @raindancefilmfestival and are now officially coming aboard to put on more screenings and events ✨
Rowan (they/she) is a screenwriter, script editor and sound artist. Her work explores the intersections of desire, identity and society, and champions stories told from marginalised perspectives.
"I was touched to be asked to join the QFN committee as it’s been a consistent beacon of hope and solidarity for me during an incredibly rough time for the film & TV industry. I hope to help build on its successes so far to create even more opportunities for connection, support and success for queer filmmakers across the country.”
