A few (more) of my favorite things from my sound-of-music-themed bridal shower…

From a lonely goatherd and a gorgeous gaggle of nuns whose original lyrics brought a tear to my eye, to a spirited singalong made possible by one extremely hardworking accordionist… these women understood the assignment and then some. Thank you thank you thank you. ❤️❤️❤️

A plane carrying nine people crashed near a residential area and killed all the passengers on board before erupting in a fireball in Palm Beach County, Florida, on Sunday afternoon, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said on X. The crash is the second deadliest in the United States this year, according to NTSB records, following June's skydiving plane crash in Butler, Missouri, which killed 12. The plane was a Learjet 60 flying to the Bahamas from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. It is registered to an LLC in Delaware, according to FAA records, and is listed as available for charter online.
