Are we all getting too old to keep up with Gen Z slang 😭

'Mogging' has officially been named Collins Dictionary's word of the year, after its use skyrocketed by 210% in 2026.

The term refers to outshining or upstaging someone, usually when it comes to looks - so if someone makes you look bad in comparison, you've officially been mogged.

Share this ↗️ and comment FAVES. Also… scroll to see what I brought last year! It was SOOOO good. We’ve got $4 gifts, bougie gifts, gifts for the home, a semi homemade gift… literally everything. The key to a good favorite things gift is that it has to have broad appeal. These definitely check that box.

Be sure to be fllowing us, or the message won’t send. & Share with you mom, sister or bestie, or anyone who loves a favorite things party!

Every year my gift gets stolen at my friends’ favorite things parties… and I wear that like a badge of honor. These are the gifts that are sure to start a fight (amongst friends) of course.

I’ve learned the gifts people get most excited about are usually the things they never would never buy themselves. Something a little fun, a little unexpected, or something just SO good that everyone wants to know where it came from!

Favorite things parties, what to bring to a favorite things party, gifts for the woman who has everything, holiday gifts, the best favorite things party gifts, unique gift ideas
