Minelab 500 Sunday last day and the 3 furthest fields.

At the events it favours the iron others leave behind. I quite like old iron artifacts. This image is Day 3 for me, a nice cuff button and possibly a Roman or medieval horseshoe. Today I did a very clean beach I have done every year and found a nice ring. Then I did a farm camping field and found about 12 coins. Some were 12” down.

That was a fair bit to haul back to base camp on Sunday! I am intrigued by that possible Roman horseshoe -- let me know if that ID pans out. Hopefully, I'll find some horseshoes of my own this Thursday, although none will be Roman! I am detecting a 1880's blacksmith shop property a few miles inland from Lake Ontario...
