I left a piece of my heart in Champaign-Urbana.♥️ Last night I came home to an empty house and it really hit me. Dropping you off at college was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

After dreading this day for years, it’s finally here. I know this is what’s supposed to happen and I know you are ready. I couldn’t be more proud of the person you’ve become and I’m even more excited for what lies ahead of you. Someone once told me, “In order for your world to get bigger, mine has to get smaller.” I think I finally understand that now.🥲
