A California startup is developing a 7-foot chainsaw-wielding centaur robot designed to enter places too dangerous for humans. 🤖🪚 Called Threehalves, the robot is being developed by Satyress Robotics in Auburn, California. It combines a humanoid upper body with four legs for stability on rough terrain. The goal is to help workers operate safely in hazardous environments, including wildfire zones, collapsed buildings, and dangerous forestry sites. A human operator would control the robot using joystick-style controls. Its modular arms are designed to accept interchangeable tools such as chainsaws, drills, and screwdrivers, allowing skilled workers to perform dangerous jobs from a safer location. Even its unusual appearance serves a purpose. Cameras inside its horns are intended to help operators track its limbs and tools, while mechanical failsafes are designed to lock its joints if the robot loses air pressure or motor control. The project is still in the prototype stage, with no confirmed commercial release date. Its creator, Beau Gaston, says the goal is to protect workers from dangerous conditions rather than replace them. Be honest, if this thing walked out of the smoke to rescue you, would you feel relieved or terrified? 💀 Follow @longliveai for more AI, robotics, and future technology updates. I’m back. 💛 Playboy has invited me to compete once more in the Playmate Search 2026 — and I embrace this opportunity with gratitude, joy, and excitement for everything that’s to come. I have always believed in myself, because everything begins there: before the applause and before the doors open, every person — woman or man — must first learn to believe in their own strength. That inner faith changes everything. At 58, I’m not chasing youth — I’m honoring the woman I’ve become. Hope doesn’t retire, and dreams don’t check your age. This December, one woman will earn the title of Playmate. For me, being here, exactly as I am, already feels like a victory — and whatever comes next, I’ll receive it with gratitude. Thank you, @playboy, for seeing me — again. ✨ Thank you for walking this journey with me. The link is in my bio — voting is free, one vote a day, and you can vote every day. #Playboy #PlaymateSearch2026 #StyleHasNoAge #NoAgeLimit #NeverTooLate
