Gully Boy is one of those films that captured the pulse of a generation without ever trying too hard. From its raw storytelling to Ranveer Singh’s electrifying performance, everything about the film feels honest, restless and deeply rooted in the streets of Mumbai. Through Murad’s journey, the film explores ambition, class, identity and the struggle to be heard in a world that constantly tells you to know your place.

With its powerful music, unforgettable characters and verses that felt like a voice for the unheard, Gully Boy became more than just a coming-of-age story—it became a cultural moment. Years later, songs like “Apna Time Aayega” still carry that same hunger and defiance, reminding us why some stories stay with us long after the credits roll.

Everybody who’s saying Father is right, you’re missing the point! The scene depicts contrast, that rich kids sometimes don’t have very lofty goals but their parents want them to go forward! Conversely, poor kids always want to reach greater heights, but poor parents always want their children to settle as early as possible with whatever MINIMUM they would get! 🙌👏

How can you demean someone who’s literally doing something for you ? So rude but also unkind.

Tbh it doesn't, privilege and struggle can't co-exist,whoever this gurl is has a choice, but the character which our guy ranveer is playing has one option and that is to work insanely hard, bcoz he doesn't really has that safety pad beneath as compared to that girl's parents who can probably afford a bit of loss(which in comparison to ranveer's character) is a huge loss.First learn the difference between privilege and struggle buddy
