Today we said goodbye to our Lajki boy…A dog who spent his life serving, protecting, and loving—and somehow became so much more than a dog to us. He was our 4th boy. He was family. He was part of our everyday life, our memories, our home, and our hearts.

I’m lost, heartbroken, angry, sad, and numb all at the same time. I know time will eventually make this pain easier to carry, but tonight it just hurts.

He deserved the world, and I hope he knew just how deeply he was loved. After a lifetime of giving everything he had to protect others, he deserved to spend his final years surrounded by the people who loved him most.

There will never be another him. 🐾❤️

Please keep our family in your prayers in the days ahead as we learn how to live with this huge hole in our hearts.

Run free, our sweet boy. Thank you for protecting us, loving us, and being our boy for 11 beautiful years.
