Huge congratulations to our own Director of Production Paul Fleming, Bob Romeo and CFD Contract Acts Chairman Mike "Wilkie" Wilkinson (pictured here), who were all in town to accept the award Wednesday night at the Pinnacle Event Center. This one is well earned!

Caleb Williams made his mark at USC as one of the most talented quarterbacks in college football, winning the 2022 Heisman Trophy after throwing for 4,537 yards and 42 touchdowns. One of the most memorable moments came on November 4, 2023, after USC suffered a 52-42 loss to Washington. Following the game, Williams climbed into the stands, found his mother and broke down crying in her arms as she comforted him. The video quickly went viral, sparking conversations about athletes showing emotion and whether professional players should be comfortable expressing their feelings publicly. Williams later explained that he had been holding everything in until he reached his mother, and said he wasn’t ashamed of showing how much the game meant to him.
