A fan-art carousel inspired by the new Herbert West: Reanimator—and also a personal learning experience as I explored new creative tools.
H. P. Lovecraft wrote that “the essence of Herbert West’s existence was a quest amid black and forbidden realms of the unknown.” This new adaptation made me wonder where that quest may have begun.
Before the doctor, there was the son.
The second piece was created especially to acknowledge Tristan Wilder Hallet’s participation as Young Herbert West—a glimpse of the child behind the man, and perhaps the beginning of the obsession that would one day define him.
Created with admiration for @therealjosephmorgan, Katie Cassidy, @theadventuresoftristan, @directormikegrossman; for the team at @woodlakeentertainment and for everyone bringing this new vision of Herbert West: Reanimator to life.
Special thanks to @lilith.fury for your amazing artwork and creative vision.
Wishing the entire cast and crew all the very best with the film. Thank you for inspiring us to create.
Fan art created as a non-commercial tribute.

both the posters are so aesthetically neat and!! the grayscale colours are such a nice touch for both @therealjosephmorgan and @theadventuresoftristan’s herbert wests. ALSO BIG FAN OF THE TEXT COMPOSITIONS… perfect blend of the modern day mad scientist followed by his troubled little past
