A book talk and a family reunion! On Friday night, I joined the @bostoncollege #professor and writer, Carlo Rotella to talk to a room full of high school students and parents at @ptknitwear about how to navigate #college and how to get something out of it. Carlo and I fielded questions from my nephew, Liam and his friend, Sophie, along with some good questions from students, professors, and parents in the audience. If you’re taking the @hacking_college frame, it’s about curating your college experience!

After the show, my sister, Mom, son, Carlo, my mentee Ben, and Sophie‘s family all went to dinner at a Filipino restaurant nearby. Then I walked back to the hotel in Chelsea and took in the scene in New York City. Big thanks to my sister and her friend for organizing this event! It was recorded and will be on a podcast soon!
