Growing up, the most sacred items in my wardrobe were my mother’s hand-me-downs. These weren’t ordinary clothes, they were unique pieces she’d collected, treasured and saved for her future children.
She had a core collection of silk camis, dresses and nighties that I cherished and wore all throughout my adolescent years. Every one of her hand-me-downs were my pride and joy. There was always a wave of excitement that would rush over me whenever someone asked where I’d gotten something from and I could proudly share that it once belonged to my mum.

To me, this collection is an heirloom; a silk-focused edit made of pieces I want to be cherished and passed down, stories and memories attached. There’s no better feeling than being trusted with something that once mattered so much to someone else.
