@intothethailand and @bankpiti2013 beautifully captured the mystical stairs that lead you to one of the most sacred temples in northern Thailand: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. To reach it, visitors climb this staircase lined on both sides by long, colorful serpents called nagas, mythical creatures believed to protect sacred places. Legend says the temple’s location was chosen by a white elephant that climbed the mountain and stopped right here. Would you visit this unique place? By: @intothethailand @bankpiti2013
