It is impossible to serve God and still please this flesh that He has called for us to kill!

Scripture says:
“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God requires us to live by His standard of Holiness
“because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

To be Holy means to be set apart!
(apartness, holiness, sacredness, separateness)

God requires those who are His to live and lead a life that does not reflect this world, He tells us in Scripture

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Conforming to this world means to take on the patterns of this world, it means to transform your mind and character to another’s patterns.

For example: taking what God has said is sin and calling it “normal”

For instance: sex outside of marriage has always been a sin and yet “Christians” are conforming to the world’s standard of “testing it out” before being married, this is an ABOMINATION in the eyes of God

Scripture: “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We cannot serve God and Mammon (the idols and deception of this world) if we say we live for God, we are required to live by the standard which He has set! Holiness is still God's standard!

It is impossible to love God and still bow your knees to whatever idol you have chosen to follow in this world!

Kill your Flesh, Repent, and Get back on the Straight and narrow path!
