I just watched this episode of The Wire last night. This is my 3rd time watching this show all the way through and every time I watch it, I catch something different that I missed before. That alone tells you how good the writing was on this show.

It’s still crazy to me that The Wire never won an Emmy during its original run.

This year, the Emmys introduced the new Legacy Award, and I can’t think of a show more deserving than The Wire. Especially since it’s been 20 years since Season 4 debuted. In my opinion, the best season of the best show ever made.

If you’re a Wire fan, what season do you think was the best?
