Africa Film Society

Africa Film Society is excited to announce our first cohort of AFS Fellows, 2026.

Paula Jacqueline ( @paauulllaaaa ) is a Ghanaian multidisciplinary creative and storyteller fascinated by people, culture, movement and the many ways we experience the world. She creates out of curiosity, joy and a desire to understand — often following questions about identity, belonging, community and becoming. For her, creativity is not only about making things, but about experiencing life fully, connecting with others and finding meaningful ways to serve humanity. She is interested in the spaces where personal experience meets culture, and where exploration becomes a way of discovering both the world and oneself.

The AFS Fellowship offers emerging creatives a grant to execute a specific project. Our curated AFS Library will serve as a base for fellowship research, incubation and collaboration. Congrats to our first cohort of AFS Fellows.
