Alyssa Seymour

Little over a year since we’ve started competing in USPSA and we finally completed my first Major Match with a LO C Class win. 🏆

Few moments I get to be proud of in my shooting journey so let me have this one 😜

But for real I’m super stoked to take something home after my first Major Match. I’ve been taking classes from guys like @benstoeger , @joel.park_ , @joeysauerland , and having friends help coach like @zachbrunelle , @relentless_shooting , @rorynorm , @kevin_izatt , @charlie_likes_coks , @riggidtactical , and many more. The community in the shooting sports is amazing, without them I’d still be hitting no shoots, and tearing up barriers 😜😅

But the biggest takeaway from this match was honestly meeting some amazing shooters who told me that the “Shooting To My Limits” series was what got them, their spouse, or their kids into shooting sports. Honestly if there’s any achievement I care about it’s getting people hooked in their local shooting communities.

Most of my journey has been embarrassing tbh, and I’m never happy with my shooting, but I’m so happy to have build skills and friendships.

The real competition is the friends you make along the way… or something like that. 🫶🏻

And of course massive shout out to my sponsors this year who genuinely care about pushing shooting sports and not just their product. I choose my partners very carefully and I’m proud to rep these guys in every match. I just hope I made them proud 🥲
