🇪🇸 Best Cities in Spain for First-Timers 👇🏻
Comment “GUIDE” and I’ll send you my complete guide to the best cities to visit in Spain, with recommendations depending on whether you’re looking for culture, beaches, food, or a little bit of everything!
If you’re planning your first trip to Spain, here are some of the best cities to consider:
🏛️ Madrid: Spain’s capital feels very elegant and sophisticated, with incredible museums, beautiful architecture, great tapas, and lots of traditional Spanish culture.
💃 Seville: One of my personal favorites for experiencing Andalusian culture, with flamenco, tapas, gorgeous architecture, and some seriously impressive historic sites.
🦎 Barcelona: This is where I live, and there’s so much more to experience beyond the famous Gaudí sights! You’ll also find beaches, amazing food, beautiful neighborhoods, and unique Catalan culture.
🌸 Granada: Best known for the incredible Alhambra, but I also love its historic neighborhoods, viewpoints, free tapas culture, and flamenco performances in the caves of Sacromonte.
🕌 Córdoba: Famous for the Mezquita, Córdoba is a smaller city near Seville with historic streets and beautiful flower-filled patios.
🥘 Valencia: Slightly smaller and more laid-back than Madrid or Barcelona, with a great mix of beaches, historic sights, and modern architecture like the City of Arts and Sciences. Plus, it’s the birthplace of paella!
☀️ Málaga: A sunny city on the Costa del Sol with beaches, historic sites, museums, and lots of great food. It’s also the birthplace of Picasso and a great base for day trips around southern Spain.
And these are just 7 of the many incredible cities you can visit in Spain!
