“He’s the boss” 😤
Works like a charm 😂 (🎥: @bmclip2much) The LeBron James versus Michael Jordan debate has been one of the internet’s most reliable sources of sports arguments for years. Jordan fans point to his six championships and Finals record, while LeBron supporters bring up longevity, versatility and his all time scoring record. There’s no universally accepted answer, which is exactly why one sentence can turn a peaceful comment section into a war zone. The funniest part is that both players are so legendary that comparing them almost guarantees someone will take it personally. NBA debates are basically generational identity disguised as basketball analysis, and “LeBron is better” might be the quickest way to summon a 40 paragraph essay from someone with a Jordan profile picture.
Why so serious?!
When you hear another kid tell your kid “you can’t play with us,” it can hit you right in the chest. Of course you want to march over and fix it. Here’s what I want you to do instead: 1️⃣ Remember this is not an emergency. It’s painful, but only emergencies need urgent action. 2️⃣ Just watch. Say nothing for 10, 20, 30 seconds. Your kid might handle it before you ever have to step in. 3️⃣ Think about the future. Your kid is learning patterns now that will play out when they’re 18, 25. You want them to know they have coping skills, not that someone will always swoop in to solve it. 4️⃣ Hold back on “You have to let my kid play.” When we do that, we’re teaching our kid they should want to be accepted by people who aren’t being kind to them. If it still stings later, for them or for you, that’s okay too. You can say something like: “That was a hard moment at the park. I’m here if you want to talk about it.” Then let them lead.
