Apparently, I have a new name…
According to the news tonight, I’m Jose Velazquez!
I’ll gladly answer to Jose if it means I get to be in the same company as Chef José Andrés and, more importantly, help feed more people. ❤️
Today was an incredible day working alongside World Central Kitchen here in Northwest Indiana. What WCK is doing is bigger than serving meals. They are bringing people together and investing in the local food community to help take care of our neighbors who are still recovering from these devastating storms.
I also want to thank every Chef, restaurant, food business, volunteer, organization and community partner who stepped up today. You answered the call, opened your kitchens, brought your trucks, cooked, packed, delivered and served.
This is what Northwest Indiana does.
We take care of our own.
And tomorrow, we keep going.
4,000 meals served!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank You!
