So this is a photo that Mckinlee sent me Sunday night at 8:45. It made me so proud. That’s my son, Tanner, under a stranger’s truck, in a random parking lot. The elderly, handicapped man was under his truck, trying to figure out what was wrong. Tanner crawled under and fixed the truck in no time. But here’s the kicker…Tanner’s truck was stolen this week from their home at 4am on Wednesday. A truck that he worked hard for. A truck that he absolutely loved. He and Mckinlee watched it drive away over and over on all of the Ring cameras throughout the neighborhood. He had so much inside of his truck, as well. They did all of the right things…filed a police report, called their insurance company and filed the claim, notified neighbors, made lists of all the valuables they had inside of the truck, and so on. It’s been a rough week. But Tanner still did the right thing for this elderly gentleman. Tanner has such a kind heart, and would do anything for anyone, even when others choose to do bad. I’m grateful my son has a servant’s heart. 🙏🏼💙
