14 years wasn’t nearly long enough. 🤍 My sweet Nala. My first baby before I ever had babies of my own. My little rescue who ended up saving me in so many ways. You were there through every move, every chapter of my life, and always by my side when I needed you most. I can’t help but feel like you held on until I finally had a baby girl of my own. 🥹 Thank you for 14 years of unconditional love. Life won’t be the same without you. I’ll miss you forever, my sweet girl. 🤍
_ Sc. 2026 NYC marathon. If you asked me a few years ago about running a marathon I would’ve said it’s completely impossible. I had always wanted to and it had always been in the back of my mind, but I truly didn’t believe I had it in me. And now I’m a 2x marathon finisher 🥹 On Sunday, at mile 15, I wondered how I’d feel if I didn’t cross the finish line. I had barely trained, I was totally underprepared, and my body was literally seizing up. There’s no way I can finish this, I thought. But I hit that wall of sound coming off the Queensboro and it was like I floated outside of my body. I decided to just keep going until I physically couldn’t move. And then I was at mile 20. 21. 24. There was no way I would quit now. I crossed the finish line and I did it with my entire heart and soul. If there’s anything I’ve learned through this experience it’s that if you show up for yourself and trust yourself enough to be pushed past your limits then you’ve already won. 🤍
