Dear Grant,
You are my twin brother, not only by blood, but in every way that matters. This is the first time in my life I have lived in a world without you by my side and the whole world already feels empty.
You had a gift of making people lighten up in the darkest of times, and although I never admitted it, you were always smarter than me. More than anything I wish you could beat me in an argument right now. You had vulnerability and wisdom beyond your age and it allowed you to understand me more than anyone I’ve ever met. I wish I could’ve seen inside that amazing brain of yours.
I always looked up to you because there was no one as special as you. You will eternally be my best friend. The impact you’ve left on everyone who you’ve ever encountered will never be erased.
