Amanda Vandervort

Today, we shared that I’ll be leaving the Gainbridge Super League and USL.

It’s hard to put into a caption what it means to have had the opportunity to help build a league from the ground up.

And actually, we built two. The USL W League launched in 2022, and the Gainbridge Super League in 2024.

When we started, so much of it was still just an idea, a conviction that there was demand for more women’s soccer in the U.S. New clubs, new opportunities for players and industry professionals, and new places for fans to call their own.

I’m incredibly proud of what we built, but even more grateful for the people who built it. Thank you to every single person who believed in the possibility and put their hearts and souls into making it real.

Women’s soccer is entering an extraordinary moment, and there is still so much left to build. Onward. ❤️
