Before we dive into editing on a desktop, we need to discuss editing on mobile. Probably 70% of my content gets edited end-to-end, inside the Instagram Edits app. And if I edit it on my computer, I’ll still run it through edits as a final pass to add captions in-app because I’m convinced it helps with IG search (even though they say it doesn’t lol).

We’re going to dive into all my tips and tricks within the Edits app, but many will be applicable to other editors like CapCut & InShot.

I still prefer to edit my home videos in InShot. But if I’m creating content (videos that get shared on Instagram), Edits is my #1 choice. I drug my feet over it for a while because I initially thought the idea of Instagram having a video editing app was a gimmick. Now, I am such a big fan. The features they continue to roll out keep getting better & better- apparently a desktop version is in the works right now which really peaks my interest as well.

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) membatalkan rencana perubahan nama sejumlah kereta dalam Grafik Perjalanan Kereta Api (Gapeka) 2026. Keputusan tersebut diambil setelah KAI menerima berbagai masukan dari pelanggan, komunitas perkeretaapian, hingga media.

Sebelumnya, KAI berencana melebur sejumlah nama Kereta Api Jarak Jauh (KAJJ).

Music Heals.

Two words that say a lot.
I think those two words are the reason so many of you and I are connected.

I’ve always appreciated the chance to be in Vancouver helping raise money and awareness for the Music Heals event. The money raised supports certified music therapists working across British Columbia and Canada, along with other programs.

It’s not just that music makes us feel better. When it’s in the hands of a trained professional, it can profoundly change somebody’s day, and their family’s too.

This gathering is always a significant event. It was especially emotional and heartbreaking this year because it was the first time we did it without our leader and co-founder, Dave Barnett.

Co-founder and Dave’s darling, Sara Ferguson, along with the Barnett family and community, remains committed to doing their part in making this world a more humane, compassionate and truly better place.

Thanks to some very generous people, the night raised a lot of money to support that work. A big night for music, and an even bigger one for the people who benefit from it.

The way we just stood there and watched for so long 😳

Posting this in honor of it being one of my first encounters with @eric_viking_engelbrekt and now he’s my partner and also turning 25 years old today. Happy birthday 😆❤️
