Queens of the Sea

Queens of the Sea
At the end of September the Gulf of Saint-Tropez belongs to the classics again. This year the most impressive of them all return: the J Class.
Built in the 1930s for the America's Cup, around 40 metres long, the greatest racing yachts of their era. Only ten were ever built, three originals still sail today. Now the class lives again, with faithful rebuilds like Rainbow and Ranger. When a J Class starts, the water goes quiet.
On the cover, two J Class sail on sail. Then Velsheda from astern, Rainbow and Ranger under spinnaker from the helicopter. And a visualisation of how one of these works holds a room.
Made for the large wall. The works hang at Hotel Bad Horn, in the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection and at the Gstaad Yacht Club, among others. Available as a limited edition, 15 signed originals and 2 Artist's Proofs, up to 3 metres wide. Link in bio.
