This was the latter part of the hike. We had crossed the treeline, so we were finally standing beneath the tallest mountains in the world.

This time, we truly felt small but also proud to be standing among giants.

Everything got harder too. The air was thinner, the oxygen was scarce, and every step seemed to take twice the effort.

Was it worth it?

Yup. Every single step.
