Just Fishin’ With Jeff

Everybody’s got an origin story. Mine started on a bank.

No boat, no fancy gear, no clue what I was doing — just me, a buddy, and a couple rods posted up on the shoreline. First real bite and I was hooked (pun absolutely intended).

What most people don’t know is I picked it up at a weird time. Basketball had been my thing forever, but it just… stopped scratching the itch. I needed something new. Something that got me outside, made me slow down, and gave me a reason to look forward to the weekend again. Bass fishing showed up right when I needed it.

Bank fishing with a friend turned into ponds, rivers, lakes, the kayak — and eventually this whole thing I get to share with you. But it all traces back to that first day on the shore.

So I gotta know 👇 Who got YOU into bass fishing? Drop ‘em in the comments — tag ‘em if they’re on here. Let’s give credit where it’s due.
